Okay|May 2022Easirent at Heathrow is based in a container in the corner of a parking lot. No direct pick up from Terminals, you have to catch a hotel hopping bus. Also, cost advertised is only the car rental. Insurance and damage waiver coverage are extras which really ramps up the price. They may be backed by Fiat (they say) and operate through Pricecom (an American outfit) but their set up is second rate, although in the end the car we had was good, met our needs but was overpriced.

Poor|May 2022They refused to honour the booking, claiming that the central system that sends out booking confirmations is nothing to do with the branch. Their only solution was to offer to loan me a different car at a much more expensive price. They also would not let me speak to anyone else in the branch to complain.

Poor|May 2022Pick up is in dark underground garage at LHR. Staff do not accompany customers to mark paperwork with existing damage to vehicle or help with controls on vehicle. Telephone assistance, very difficult to reach a live person to address concerns after pickup. World wide Sixt computer system was down for over two days and email assistance was delayed. Usual problems communicating with a live person when I was eventually able to talk to someone in English as it was not their first language. Insurance is very expensive at the counter at pickup. Be sure to buy online with rental prior to pickup. Good luck!

Okay|Jan 2024I input wrong pickup day when I entered reservation, paid and then 15 mins later I contacted them to change the pickup date and they did it but would not refund the extra day that I paid for by accident. I reserved a Mercedes van, they switched it on me at pickup to a Renault. The insurance cost more per day than the car rental!

Mediocre|Mar 2023The car booked was the Peugeot 2008 but I was given the Hyundai Exceed which was lower and caused a lot of discomfort while driving, the indicators for the tires lights up for no apparent reason which again caused me to be concerned throughout the journey I had called for an expert to checked on the tyre but It seems to have no problem but I still need to pay for the call this made me unhappy. The other features of the car such as USB ports and the screen which was supposed to be connected to my iPhone were also non usable. I took full insurance on rental car just to be given such a poor service.

Mediocre|Dec 2022Place was shabby. No effort to clear ice and car did not have any washer for wipers which meant I was driving blind on the motorway as salt covered my screen. This was dangerous and I must report it as I could he’s been killed. Staff in Docklands simply did not care when I pointed it out. Also tyre pressures were low so I also had to sort it out. Staff took us to the airport but said nothing. Did not help with bags and drove too fast. Surly and unhelpful when returning car.

Poor|Nov 2022Absolutely awful. £200 in hidden charges on pick up. Site in the middle of nowhere with buses only operating once an hour and not between 1200-1400 creating captive clientele. No bathrooms on site. Unhelpful staff. Worst rental I’ve ever paid for.

Very Good|Feb 2022When picking the vehicle up there was a lot of pressure to pay for extra insurance. Perhaps they should make people aware of this at the time of booking. This was necessary as I demonstrated I had the excess covered. This did not stop them scrutinizing my documents. Returning the vehicle was trouble free. The guy who checked the vehicle back in was called Mark and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you Mark. Not sure why it takes up to 14 days to refund the somewhat excessive deposit of GBP 2,500! Green motion where quick to take the money but it seems not too keen to give it back!
