The only thing that lets down the return flight is the immigration at BHX. The separate area used by Jet2 is far too slow, I think we queued there for over an hour compared to generally going straight through or a 5 minute wait with other operators in the main facility at BHX. I know you will say that it's the responsibility of the airport, Home Office etc, but you really need to apply pressure to get this sorted out.

Getting around Funchal
The compact nature of Funchal makes it easy to get around the city centre on foot. Most of the buses which operate in the city leave from the waterfront area. Getting to the City

Travelling from the airport by road, the city can be reached via the ER101 highway which runs along the coast.
